Dead Cells puts you in control of a failed alchemic experiment trying to figure out what's happening on a sprawling, ever-changing and seemingly cursed Island. Tough but fair combat, responsive controls, challenging foes, permadeath and of course, the emergency panic roll to get you out of trouble, make for a demanding, visceral and cathartic action game.

- Adding content
- If you are unsure of what to do or how to create a page, search for a few articles on the same topic and see what they look like. You can always view the source code in a wiki and learn from what others have done.
- An edit doesn't have to be massive; if you feel you don't want to create whole articles, then just fixing spelling errors and broken links is enough.

Disclaimer: Spoilers!
Please note that this guide contains major spoilers for Dead Cells, including final bosses, biomes and hidden achievements. This guide was created during the first beta branch with The Elemental Update.
I would strongly recommend throwing a few hours into the game and completing the game at-least once before cleaning up the remaining achievements.
If, however, you are struggling or just don't care about spoliers, then proceed!
I've grouped the achievements into categories and split the guide up accordingly.
Rune Achievements
There are currently only 2 runes in Dead Cells that unlock permanant abilities (As of The Elemental Update). They are unlocked by killing their respective Elite Guardians.
[1] Tickle tickle..
'You have assimilated the Vine Rune!'
[2] What are you rubbing at anyway?
Dead Cells Crack
'You have assimilated the Teleportation Rune!'[1] The Vine Rune is unlocked by killing the Undead Archer in the Promenade of the Condemned. He can be found in a room towards the right side of the map by entering the door at the base of a large overhang. Collecting this rune grants you the ability to permanently grow vines from the ground where possible, allowing you to access the Toxic Sewers and the Old Sewers.
[2] The Teleportation Rune is unlocked by killing the Slasher in the Old Sewers. It can be found in a room in which you need to operate a switch to enter. Collecting this rune grants you the ability to permanently teleport between mummy statues when you rub them, allowing you to access the Ossuary and the Prison Depths.
Biome Achievements
A Biome in Dead Cells is essentially a floor. Each floor has a unique design and brings it's own set of enemies. There are achievements for accessing 9 of these biomes, all except the first (Prisoners Cells) and the last (The Insufferable Crypt).
[1] Love the serenity..
'You reached the Promenade of the Condemned for the first time!'
[2] What's that funky smell?
You reached the Toxic Sewers for the first time!
[3] Well this is a cheerful place..
'You reached the Ossuary for the first time!'
[4] A room with a view!
'You reached the Ramparts for the first time!'
[5] Who needs an Italian plumber?
'You reached the Old Sewers for the first time!'
[6] It rubs the lotion on its skin!
'You reached the Prison Depths for the first time!'
[7] Finally, a moment of rest..
'You reached the Black Bridge for the first time!'
[8] My only wish, to catch a fish, so juicy sweeeeet!
'You reached the Fog Fjord for the first time!
[9] The dead center of the island..
'You reached the Graveyard for the first time!'
These achievements are unlocked by simply entering the following biomes. You will most likely unlock these are you progress through the game naturally.
Boss Achievements
There are currently two bosses in Dead Cells. The Incomplete One and The Watcher.
[1]The Fat and The Furious
'You destroyed 'The Incomplete One'!'
[2] You've got something in your eye.
'You destroyed 'The Watcher'!'
[1] Steam rolled.
'You slayed 'The Incomplete One' without taking a single hit.'
[2] Flawless victory.
'You slayed 'The Watcher' without taking a single hit.'
[1] The Incomplete One can be found at The Black Bridge. It can be accessed from the Old Sewers, The Prison Depths or the Ramparts. The first time you defeat the Incomplete One you will unlock 'The Fat and the Furious'. Destroying him without taking any damage will unlock 'Steamrolled.'.
[2] The Watcher can be found in The Insufferable Crypt which is accessed from the Graveyard. The first time you defeat The Watcher you will unlock 'You've got something in your eye.'. Destroying him without taking damage will unlock 'Flawless Victory'.
Miscellaneous Achievements
[1] Slash! Slash! Roll!
'You have unlocked 10 weapons.'
[1] Pimp my ride.
'You have unlocked 10 active skills.'
[2] Please stand clear of the doors!
'Kill an enemy with an elevator.'
[3] They came from behind!
'Kill yourself with an elevator.'
[4] YOLO! Or not?
'Cheat death with a beating heart.'
[5] Ohhhhhh! That hurt!
'You died with 100 cells or more.. That's gotta hurt!'
[6] You've got nothing, elites!
'You slayed 100 elites. Badman.'
[1] 'Slash! Slash! Roll!' and 'Pimp my ride.' can be unlocked by collecting 10 weapon and active skill blueprints, respectively. Blueprints are dropped by specific enemies throughout the game. The following guide shows the locations of all blueprints.
[2] 'Please stand clear of the doors! can be unlocked by killing an enemy with an elevator. Now the elevators at the end of biomes tend not to have enemies near them. So, the best thing to do is wait until you come across an elevator in the middle of a level and try and lure a flying enemy near it, like a bat. Then simply keep toggling the elevator until you smash into it and kill it.
[3] 'They came from behind!' can be unlocked by killing yourself with an elevator. Find any elevator, drop down under it, call it, and stand directly underneath. As it hits you it will deal damage and may need to be done multiple times to kill yourself.
[4] 'YOLO! Or not?' can be unlocked by purchasing the item 'Ygdar Orus Li Ox!' which abbreviates to 'Y.O.L.O playing on the phrase 'You Only Live Once'. Ironically, it brings you back to life once when you die. It can be found in the Prisoners Cells. Simply purchase it, deplete all your health, and the item will activate causing the achievement to pop.
[5] 'Ohhhhhh! That hurt!' can be unlocked by dieing when you are holding 100 cells or greater . To do this, simply play through a run as normal, but destroy the door by The Collecter to proceed without giving him your cells. Once I got to >100, I kept giving him cells until I rounded it back off to 100 (there's no need to waste cells unecessarily).
[6] 'You've got nothing, elites!' can be unlocked by killing 100 elite enemies. Elite enemies can be found in room with a large stone slab and a red symbol that glows upon entering. Simply grind away at the game until you slay 100 of them!
