Steam vs Consoles (Xbox/Microsoft and PS4 )
The base game ARK: Survival Evolved Steam Steam key is required in order to play. ARK: Survival Evolved - Season Pass (DLC) In this action game, you will have to use your cunning, wits, and battle prowess to survive against dinosaurs in an open world setting which is sure to provide you thrills for days. The ARK: Survival Evolved Season Pass gives you access to three huge expansion packs - Scorched Earth (available now), Aberration (available now), and Extinction (available now)!
ARK is available on multiple platforms, but there seems to be a lot of confusion about who can play together!!
As it stands right now (based on everything found on the web…. this is subject to change at any time), you can ONLY play with other players, if you meet the following conditions;
Steam Version -Windows, Steam-Linux and Steam-Mac. You “can” play together on a Steam based server.
PS4 Version – with other PS4 players or a special custom PC server, available from Studio Wildcard ‘selected’ hosting providers.
Microsoft/Xbox Version – with other Xbox players and/or those running the Windows 10 version of ARK (available in the Windows App store).
With this said…
PS4 players CANNOT play with Steam or Xbox/Microsoft players,
Xbox players CAN ONLY play with the Xbox/Microsoft versions of ARK (available on the Microsoft Store),
Steam players CAN ONLY play with other Steam version players/servers.
Currently TRUgaming ONLY offers servers running the STEAM VERSION of ARK.
Epic Game Store Ark Release:
With the release of the Epic Game Store version of Ark, there are a few things to note: (These are subject to change)
- You can ONLY play on a Steam server that; 1) has no mods and 2) no password.
- ** The Epic Game Store version of Ark is Windows ONLY, you still CAN NOT play with other players running Xbox, Microsoft Store or PS4 versions of Ark. **

An Expansion Pack Sudden strike 4 - road to dunkirk download for mac os. is a direct addition to the main game by adding new maps, creatures, equipment, and content without changing the core game-play mechanics.
Expansion Packs are also entirely compatible with the main game, and content can be transferred from an expansion to vanilla servers and vice versa.

A Total Conversion changes a majority of the game-play mechanics themselves and requires a user to learn a new way to play the game.
Content from a Total Conversion can not be transferred to a Vanilla server.

Notes/Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Interestingly almost every expansion pack has 1 up'd itself adding in a new largest creature in the game with the Alpha Deathworm surpassing the Titanosaur, Rockwell surpassing the Alpha Deathworm, and the King Titan surpassing Rockwell.
- However, Corrupted Master Controller is not as large as King Titan following the release of Genesis: Part 1.
